About Me
This is my 18th year as the Library Media Specialist at Winburn Middle School and 24th year in Fayette County. I taught 5th grade for five years at Deep Springs Elementary and 1st grade for one year at Southern Elementary.
I earned my Bachelor in Arts in Elementary Education and Masters in Library and Information Science at the University of Kentucky.
I previously taught 5th grade for five years at Deep Springs Elementary and 1st grade for one year at Southern Elementary.
I have been married for 22 years and have a rabbit named Jack as well as three cats named Roxy, Luna, and Molly. We adopted three of our animals through local Humane Societies and saved Molly, a neighborhood stray, during a bitterly cold winter a couple of years ago.
I love to read, spend time outside when the weather is nice, and attend musicals or plays.
My favorite vacation spot is Pawley's Island and Litchfield Beach in South Carolina.
