NTI Days

With a nontraditional instruction (NTI) day, school buildings are closed but students participate in learning at home. It counts as a school day and does not need to be made up or added to the calendar. Students use their Chromebooks to complete lessons virtually. Class assignments, teachers’ office hours, Google Meet links (office hours 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.), etc. are available online. Please reach out to the teacher via email for support.

Accessing Assignments

Canvas: All assignments will be posted on Canvas by 9:05 a.m. on NTI Days.

Labeling: Look for assignments clearly labeled as "NTI DAY..." within the Canvas courses.

Content: Please note that these assignments are a review of content already taught; no new material will be presented today.

Deadlines: Students have up to three (3) days from the time we return to school to submit their NTI work for participation credit.

Teacher Office Hours

Teachers will be available "live" to support students and answer questions during designated office hours:

Time: 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

How to Connect: Teachers have provided a clear link (Google Meets or Microsoft Teams) on their Canvas homepage. Students can click these links during the office hour window to receive real-time assistance.

Additional Support

Communication: Teachers will be responding to parent and student emails throughout the regular workday (8:30 a.m. – 4:05 p.m.).

Special Education: Case managers and paraeducators will be reaching out via phone or email to the students they serve to ensure they have the support they need.
